Is all vacuum glazing toughened/tempered?
- Fineo offers both annealed and toughened versions thus keeping manufacturing emissions to a minimum. Extra energy is required to toughen glass and doing so unnecessarily leads to increased emissions.
- LandVac only offers toughened units.

Which vacuum glazing has the lowest u-values?
- LandVac has a U-Value between 0.4 and 0.5 W/m²K
- Haanglas has a U-Value of 0.5 W/m²K
- Fineo has a certified U-Value of 0.7 W/m²K for both its annealed and toughened versions. The difference between a 0.4 and 0.7 U value is minimal and the difference is more than offset by the longer warranty and service life that Fineo offers over the Chinese products.
Which vacuum glazing has a CE Marking?
- At present Fineo is the only vacuum glazing to have a certified European Technical Assessment and are waiting for this to be written up into the European Journal which in turn will provide full CE marking. CE marking is fully acceptable for the UK and European markets.

Who makes the glass used in the manufacture of vacuum glazing?
- Fineo is manufactured and owned by AGC who are one of the world’s largest glass manufacturers. Therefore, all glass used in the manufacture of Fineo is made by its parent company AGC.
