The main priority for this home in Cambridge, England was retaining the original Georgian window frames and improving the quality of the glass.
As FINEO is only 7.7mm thick it was perfect to swap with the existing inefficient single glazing and retrofitted into the existing wooden frames. This instantly improved the warmth and comfort throughout the house as FINEO offers the thermal and acoustic insulation of triple glazing. Installation of the vacuum glazing was quick and easy thanks to the expertise and skill of Chameleon, the window restoration craftspeople.
The U-value went from 5.8W/(m2K) of single glazing to 0.7 W(m2K) of FINEO.
