Hotel Beaumont is a Hotel and Restaurant in Maastricht, Netherlands. The building has historic timber windows but was finding the single glazing was not a sustainable solution.
FINEO vacuum glazing was retrofitted into the existing timber frames and hotel became more comfortable for their customers. FINEO has 8 times better thermal performance than single glazing and with FINEO’s excellent noise reduction properties the guests were sure to sleep better. As the new glass is more energy-efficient it stops as much heat escaping, therefore the hotel became more environmentally friendly, while also keeping it’s frames and traditional character.
